DISCLAIMER
Scope of Services
My assessment services are designed for children and adults (with specific appointment accommodations discussed for those who require in-person assessments, such as children) who are seeking greater clarity about their mental health.
I primarily work with people who are:
Experiencing challenges with attention, focus, or organization and want to explore the possibility of ADHD
Noticing social challenges or differences along with sensory overwhelm or anxious behaviors and want to explore the possibility of autism
Navigating complex or overlapping concerns that make diagnosis unclear
Seeking diagnostic clarification to better guide therapy, medication, or other treatment planning
Each assessment is individualized and comprehensive, and may include several components:
Clinical interviews to understand your history, symptoms, and experiences
Standardized psychological testing using validated measures with established psychometric properties
Collateral contact (with your consent) to gather observations from family members, providers, or others who know you well
Records review to integrate prior evaluations, medical or educational history, and treatment notes
Not every assessment includes all of these elements — the process is tailored to your specific referral questions and needs.
My goal is to ensure each assessment meets your needs and serves its intended purpose. If you’re unsure which type of evaluation is right for you, please contact me for guidance before beginning the process.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Explanation of Assessment Scope and Limitations
My assessments are comprehensive and clinically sound, but it’s important to understand their intended purpose and scope before scheduling.
Evaluator Credentials: I am a master’s-level licensed clinical mental health provider. My evaluations include clinical interviews, standardized psychological testing, and a detailed written report. However, some outside organizations (such as universities, licensing boards, or medical offices) may require that an evaluation be completed by a doctoral-level psychologist or psychiatrist.
If you are seeking an evaluation for academic accommodations, workplace accommodations, or another external review process, please confirm in advance that a master’s-level provider’s evaluation will be accepted.
Purpose of Evaluation: The evaluations described on this page are intended for diagnostic clarification and treatment planning—helping you and your treatment team better understand your mental health needs and next steps.
These evaluations are not completed for:
Disability determinations (such as Social Security Disability evaluations)
Medical or surgical clearances (e.g., bariatric, pain management, or gender-affirming surgery)
